Tara & Casey // Novelty Hill Januik Wedding, Woodinvile
I’ve put my blogging on the back burner a little bit lately, but here is the long awaited post on Tara & Casey’s wedding. Tara and I have been friends for about ten years so when she asked me to shoot her wedding I was super excited. I knew it’d be a beautiful wedding and I couldn’t have been happier to be a part of her special day, and especially to be able to document their day from start to finish.
We had a great group of vendors that were part of the wedding and made the day even more special. The wedding took place at one of my favorite Woodinville wineries – Novelty Hill Januik Winery. They have a beautiful courtyard where the ceremony took place under lovely lights, and we were lucky as the leaves had just started turning colors to the gorgeous red tones of fall. Before we arrived at the winery, the girls got their make-up and hair done by the talented OffWhite Makeup & Beauty team. If you are looking for a great group of gals that will make you look your best, Megan and her team are it! The groomsmen were getting ready in an amazing room provided on-site at the winery, while watching some college football – wouldn’t be a Saturday without college football. When everyone was all done and ready for their photos, Casey, Tara & I headed to a local winery with beautiful grape-vines to do their first look. I love first looks, especially when we get a gorgeous backdrop such as the grape vines (more on why you should do a first look in another blog post :).
After the first look, we went back to the winery for some bridal shots with the whole bridal party, along with the family, and one of my favorite features at the winery is the amazing concrete wall – my favorite backdrop of all time! If you’re ever at the winery, you have to make sure to check out the wall, along with the bocce ball court that they have. Also one of the amazing additions to the bridal party was Tara’s black lab – Sophie, check out her photos below and the beautiful flower crown she had created by Verbena Flowers. Verbena also provided all of the boutonnieres along with the bouquets for the bridesmaids and Tara’s main bouquet – so so so pretty! At the end of the night Tara & Casey had Dick’s burgers delivered, which is always a winning late night snack at any wedding. Check out the full list of vendors below along with photos from the wedding!
